Consider the Anthem MediBlue Rx Enhanced Part D Plan*

Our new standalone prescription drug plan has the lowest monthly premium of all our plans.

A Low Premium You’ll Love

The MediBlue Rx Enhanced plan’s monthly premium goes as low as $18.90, with a competitive deductible as low as $275 per year. These change depending on where you live.

Great Coverage for Excellent Value

If you don’t have many prescriptions, the Enhanced plan might be just right for you. It covers many drugs for excellent value. And tier 1 and 2 drugs have no deductible.

*In Missouri only, MediBlue Rx plans are called Blue MedicareRx Value, Enhanced and Plus plans.

Consider the Anthem MediBlue Rx Plus Part D Plan

This plan has a $0 deductible and the largest drug list of our standalone prescription drug plans.

That’s Right, No Deductible

Our MediBlue Rx Plus prescription drug plan has a $0 deductible. Its monthly premium is competitive but costs more than the Enhanced plan because it offers more coverage.

The Most Complete Coverage

The Plus plan covers the largest number of drugs of our Part D plans. With its long drug list and excellent benefits, you can trust the Plus plan for comprehensive coverage.

Consider the Anthem MediBlue Rx Standard Part D Plan

This plan could be a good choice if you want basic coverage from a reliable, trusted insurance provider like Anthem.

Competitive Coverage

The MediBlue Rx Standard prescription drug plan has a monthly premium of $46.50 to $77.80 and a deductible as low as $250, depending on where you live.

Tier 1 Drugs Waived From the Deductible

Even if you haven’t met your deductible, you’ll pay a $1 copay for tier 1 drugs at a preferred pharmacy.

Your best bet for comparing prices and what drugs each plan specifically covers is to enter your current prescriptions in Anthem’s Find a Drug tool. Then, search for plans in your area and use the Compare option to see each plan and its costs side by side.

Let Anthem Do the Math for You

Finding the right Medicare Part D prescription drug plan is important for your health and your budget. Here’s something to make your search simple and stress-free.

A helpful tip from our agents:

What you pay for prescription drugs with a Part D plan comes down to the specific drugs you’re taking and if your plan covers them on a lower tier. A lower tier often means lower prices.

You can easily find out which plan covers your prescriptions and at what price using Anthem's search tool. The search tool also factors in out-of-pocket costs, such as monthly premiums, so you’ll have an estimate of what you’ll pay.

If you’re new to prescription drug plans, most have five tiers of drugs, with generic drugs typically making up the lowest and least expensive tiers. The formulary, or drug list, shows all the drugs the plan covers, and separates them into tiered levels based on cost. We also have articles to help you understand what Medicare Part D is, how to enroll in Part D, and what Part D costs.
